At the beginning of the spring time, the white flowers of daffodils blossom on the plateau – the Daffodil Glade. The legend says that daffodils are growing each spring on the graves of Dacian warriors. The path to the glade, trough the fir forest, fascinates the traveler with the scenery offered and the sound of silence all around.
The coniferous tree forests of the Corabia Masif (1351m) and Negrileasa Forest ( 1346m), are the natural habitat of the lynx (Felis lynx) and the bear, protected wild life in Romania .
